Wanted to show off my new diamond solitaire pendant.
This is a necklace I've wanted for a really long time.
I wish I could have gone up to 1 carat, but that was a bit out of my price range.
I thought I was partial to the bezel style pendants, but I like how the "rabbit ears" allow for more flexibility with the style of chain I use. It also allows plenty of light to hit the stone.
I'm very happy! Although I have been sort of wishing it was on my finger so I could stare at this lovely stone all day!
The stone is GIA certified, J color, .80 carats and just under 6mm round.
Excellent cut with a 1.4 hca score.
The specs are:
table: 56%
crown angle: 34%
pavilion angle: 41 %
depth: 62.1%
I am a larger woman, but I think the stone still holds its own. It's very sparkly.
(also, please excuse my weird neck picture! I never realized how hard it was to get a picture at that angle!).
