That's a gorgeous picture. It's going to look awesome as a brooch. It's neat to see how you can actually see the different colours inter-mingling, blending and stretching away from each other.
It is truely gods art work. What really gets me is how the reds blend from the brown, and the yellows are almost in the background it looks like (expecially the ''coral'' to the right)...makes it look 3D. All over it there are TINY red and yellow flecks.
I showed it to Dave and he thought it was hand painted, and couldnt believe it when I told him it was 100% natures creation.
Actually, believe it or not it is an ebay stone! I was just messing around looking at stuff (not really looking to buy) and saw this and HAD to have it. The seller cuts and polishes the agates himself in Oklahoma. I usually only buy faceted stones but this one was just too unique to pass up.
I plan on making it into a pendent. I dont wear broaches, but I love my pendents. On the 15th rogers and hollands (my fav jewelry store) is having a setting sale and I will have it set then.
I have looked at gemlines stones after I bought this one. They have some nice pieces as well for sure!!! I like this one..http://litnon.com/viewgem.php?gemid=6000&id=24649. They are a little on the pricy side (compared to the 50$ I paid for mine) but are very pretty!
