New course on cultured pearls

I haven't seen anyone post about this, but there is a new online course about pearls sponsored by the CPAA (Cultured Pearl Association of America). It can be found at PearlsAsOne.org. http://www.pearlsasone.org/ The course covers Akoyas, freshwater, Tahitian, white South Sea and golden South Sea. Additional sections are planned. You will receive a certificate upon successful completion. There is a lot more information about this course on the other pearl information site.

Also it's worth mentioning that although the course fee is $599, if you subscribe to the PP or PoJ newsletters, you should have received a code or link to complete the course free of charge.

Yes, I was very generous of them to offer the class to us for free. When I get settled from my move I plan to take advantage of it. I signed up when they offered it to all at the Ruckus.

I signed up promptly when I got the newsletter from PoJ. Not sure when I will have time to get started, but it looks fantastic. I'm really looking forward to it!

Thanks for the information! I saw this thread yesterday and signed up yesterday, just finished the course and scored high!
Feel so good from knowing nothing about pearl to be a certified pearl specialist!
