New camera new ring, earring & Xmas hoops shots!

Ok, here are my diamond studs....my redesigned ring (Chris Corriea inspired) and my white gold brushed hoops DH got me for xmas...(brushed to match the band on my w-ring).

Enjoy! I'm loving my new macro setting on my new camera!! (a panasonic lumix DMC-F7Z)

Great pics! I love the setting you chose for your ring - can we see a hand shot? The princess cut studs look really sparkly and I really like the brushed finish on those hoops! Good stuff you''ve got there.

Beautiful pieces!!! Did you get those studs reset??? I thought I saw that you were thinking of doing that in another thread. The hoops are so great. I love the size...perfect...And the finish. Did they come that way or did you have the jeweler do the finish? Love the ring, too!

several things - first to your last question - YES!!! You had your ring done at ABC right? It looks really beautiful - the old pics didn''t do it justice, I *love* that brushed metal - esp on the earrings it almost makes them look diamond encrusted! I''m planning to do a matte finish on part of my ring but now I need to think, okay, what type? omg that''s so pretty!!! I love that shot of the right earring in the close up - it is sooo clear and detailed! nice camera!!

Cehra: yes, ABC in Portland did my ring. Artisans in Portland set my earrings...

Miranda: I still need to get my earrings reset..now more than ever. I have a 2nd set of holes up higher in my ear & I''d like to wear my studs with the hoops (I got one in, it looked cool) but those holes are hardly ever used, and with the plastic sheaths on my studs, I can''t get the right one in my ear. LOL. I''m thinking of calling Whiteflash and seeing what options they have in platinum for studs. I''d like the W prong perhaps, purty cool...but Artisans quoted me $100 (before platinum went up) to reset them into plat baskets like they are in now, and ABC quoted me $400. eeek. Of course, if I don''t do something spanky and spiffy, I''ll just reset into another basket, I like how classic it is on the studs.

It''s been drizzly here, but as soon as I get some sun, I''ll do some new handshots..
