Trying to find stone for an engagement ring and wanted to know what your thoughts are of this diamond. My only worry are the crystal''s. It''s an SI1 clarity, so it should be eye clean. I guess I won''t know for sure until I see it. Graded a 1.5 on the HCA scale and the rest of the C''s look good. Attached is a link to the diamond and the GIA report

Also, can anyone recommend an appraiser in Atlanta,

Looks promising from the numbers.

anyone know a good appraiser in Atlanta

stone-cold. I''m not sure if you took a look at the GIA report for the diamond I posted, but my question is would a cluster of that many inclusions make it more noticeable since they all seem to be in one spot vs spread throughout the diamond?

Can''t really tell from the clarity plot if it is eye-clean or not. You will have to ask the vendor or see it yourself.

Can''t judge eye clean from the plot, and there is no guarantee with SI1''s. They are white inclusions, which is good, but they are under the table. Can you call and ask?

Hi Jacobs

Lets make your link clickable to make it easier...

This is what we call a 60 60 type diamond, click on the link for more info on these stones. With this diamond, it could be a bright and brilliant diamond due to the 60 60 proportion configuration and also the slightly shallower crown angle, it could favour brilliance or white light more than fire or coloured light. It could definitely be a contender, it would be useful if Abazias could provide an Idealscope image, it is my understanding they don't offer such services usually but you could certainly ask.

Also the only way to find out if it is eyeclean is to ask someone at Abazias to find out for you.
