My FI proposed almost a year ago with a ring that was supposed to be temporary (he knew that I wanted to help pick out/design my ring)--we finally got around to replacing it. I absolutely love Neatfreak''s ring, so mine is very much inspired by hers!
Mark at ERD found the cushion and made the ring. We had a slight miscommunication--I assumed he knew I wanted it set east-west, since I wanted it to look like Neatfreak''s, but he assumed I wanted it north-south since that''s what 95% of people prefer. He was able to get it fixed in less than a day (I was shocked and thrilled when he emailed to say it was done), and it looks perfect!!!
Specs:
GIA
Cushion Brilliant
Measurements: 5.75 x 5.22 x 3.31 mm
Carat Weight: 0.70
Color Grade: E
Clarity Grade: SI1
Proportions:
Depth: 63.4 %
Table: 56 %
Girdle: Very Thin to Very Thick, Faceted
Culet: Medium
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: None
Here is the stone before it was set (Mark''s photo):
