Hi All,

Some of you might remember my princess AGS0 buying experience from Jogia...

I am a newbie and still don''t know much about diamonds.

Why does the ASET of my diamond look so different to these new batch of princesses from Jogia? The newer princesses have so much more red (which i assume is better) than mine, and yet they are all AGS0.

My diamond''s ASET

Cut differently, probably from a different cutter as the facet pattern is different.

Ok, so it''s a different style of cutting... but is it better or worse?

The new princesses made me think that i should have waited till i saw them before buying a stone... especially the first two. They look like snowflakes!

I actualy picked mine because it looked good compared to the Reference chart for ASET Princess images I came across...

Personally, I prefer the new kind of facet pattern. But your''s is good too, just personal prefer. And the stone''s ASET, of similar wt to your stone, isn''t that nice anyway. :P

Hahah i agree with you there!

Ok next question, since the facet pattern is different, would they look significantly different to my stone irl?

Gosh I didn''t think a princess cut could have that so much red in the middle like that but apparently I''m wrong...

overall light return is about the same.
The newer ones have better optical symmetry and a different facet pattern.

Yours is very well cut and should be stunning.
Enjoy it!

Yours has smaller more numerous sparkles the others less but larger.
Both are valid princess designs.

Its a great image, nice distribution of red, nothing wrong with it at all!

Thanks lorelei!

I just noticed that all those princess cuts have significantly lower table % than mine.
Your table is fine, the table percent is only a small part of the story - your diamond is lovely!
