My story... My fiance purposed on July 9th with a beautiful, different ring. In about a matter of 3 weeks, the aqua prong came loose and the stone almost fell out so we brought it to the place where he purchased it. While getting fixed, a diamond fell out between being inspected and us receiving it, which we were blamed for, while we were still in the store. They went to fix it, and all the while doing it, scratched the band on both sides, deep gouges. They went to fix it again, but the white gold was very wavy where the scratched were buffed out. I was okay with it until a couple days later I noticed that the band had snapped. At that point, I was fed up with the ring and all of its problems, which the owner of the jewelry store said that it was a defect in the ring... but why would he sell my fiance a defective ring in the first place? We told him we wanted a refund and he gave one to us after we said we were very unhappy. So... then we went to a local shop, well about 30 miles north of us, and had one custom made... the band and the prongs are all handmade. I even got to pick out my aqua!
