New Adiamor ring and 2ct GCAL 8x

I just received my ring from Adiamor and love the diamond but setting seems a bit high to me and the prongs look kinda thick. Looking for some opinions on how these look. Should I try to do something about the prongs/setting or is this normal/does it look good?

Diamond looks great...set too high for my own preference of aesthetics, but it's your call.

The prongs do look on the bulky side. Have you reached out to Adiamor to see what they can do?

they said they can change the setting entirely if i wanted to pick a different one but they don't think they can lower the existing prongs saying they need the space there for the prongs to come together and provided support.

These are kind of traditional old school type prongs. Personally I would pick a different setting like this one:

They should easily be able to find something out of Stuller's peg head collection that's more "sculptural" and would have a lower overall height. And also appropriately fill the space between two sets of sidestones.
