Hello PSers!! I wanted to share my new addition to my tiny collection! Below are pictures of my 1.25ctw 5 stone Distinctive Hearts & Arrows Lab Diamond band by Jonathan at Distinctive Gem. Setting is, I believe, a Stuller U-prong setting in 14kt white gold. The diamonds are small but they pack a mighty punch!! TI reached out to him in late January and had the ring on my hand by mid March. So two months from diamond cutting to setting. I’ve never owned such sparklers and I don’t think I can ever go back to anything other than these or other Super Ideals!

Last Spring I reached out to Jonathan to help me find my dream size lab diamonds in the best possible cut within my tiny budget. He helped me find some pretty amazing cut diamonds at K & L color at 2.41ctw within my budget. I thought they were amazing until I saw the ring! Don’t get me wrong I am still obsessed with my earrings and wear them everyday but now I long for Distinctive H&A diamonds for earrings now! I compared the earrings to the K&L earrings and the ring diamonds surpassed the earring diamonds in quality by a long shot! I also compared to my engagement ring which is a color D very good cut earth diamond (pre-pricescope knowledge) that has pretty sparkle but lots of light leakage and the 5stone ring diamonds made it very apparent that the engagement ring is a very good cut. I never saw it before now! I added some pictures to compare. You can see how the 5 stone stands out compared to the others.

My plan for this 5 stone ring is to eventually have 4 of the diamonds set in studs for my twins when they turn 16. They are April babies. And then take the other diamond and add it maybe to a bracelet and add to it the diamonds from the 0.50ctw studs my husband got me on our first anniversary. This way the girls and I share matching diamonds and I can repurpose the studs I never wear anymore. Then I can upgrade to a larger 5 stone when I am older. I have about 9 years to save!

Jonathan and Vicki as always were amazing to work with and I have nothing but top notch remarks to make of them! They make the process so simple and are very responsive. This was my second experience working with them and it was just as good as the last. They are awesome and I can't wait to save up to work with them again!

Below are pictures of the 5 stone ring and the ring with some friends (a couple are amazon cheapies to test the stack look) and the rest of the jewelry family. My husband looked at me the other day and said I was blingin’ cause I had all the jewelry on, I warned I have only just started my collection! I think I scared him. 1CD9054A-F07B-4895-82D2-66EE57D170FE.jpeg 539B9C14-001E-4E09-AA93-87A7B003DE3C.jpeg 4984156C-00CC-4DED-9966-375F048F705E.jpeg BAFF2DE7-CB75-4A54-8112-29E0D429E75A.jpeg 555C30B3-8D3B-4812-8DB5-597640F98A56.jpeg BB7086EF-91EC-431A-8EDE-06F2684231C4.jpeg 735C19D6-2729-4797-B988-AD54B6385749.jpeg D66D9155-4214-4A53-BFD1-802F31BC08E4.jpeg F467D23E-AA27-4465-B31E-602915F415ED.jpeg 48A35D67-CDF3-477D-880B-F9AA5B4DFC07.jpeg ED20C9CE-9580-4686-B5F4-8B1347094A38.jpeg F682A8A8-58DA-42D8-BB12-BE909A98AF84.jpeg

Love all of it, even the cheapies. I was thinking about a future project like this and was wondering what size diamonds to use. Would you mind sharing your ring size?

Not a problem! Meant to do that in the original. My left ring finger is a 4.75 and my right is 5.5. I believe I got the ring in a 5.5 we went back and forth between 5.75 and 5.5. And thank you!!

The stack has my James Allen .25ctw rose gold band and two 14ktwhite gold bands from Ferkos on Etsy. The gold band and rose gold one with miligrain are Amazon cheapies hoping to replace with real things.

Beautiful! I love all of your pieces. And love the sentimentality behind the five stone. I have small aca sidestones from a Whiteflash setting I am saving for my oldest son(who is 32) He's dating a 'new' gal for over three months now, and it's going very well. I'm praying she's "the one" and I can give him these stones to use in her engagement ring one day(soon).

I love this!! I have to say I am plotting lots projects that I would love to pass on to my girls eventually. With two I feel like everything will need to be equal so that means double the projects ;-)

I think double is a fabulous idea :D . I have two daughters and keep this in mind as well(although both already have their own diamond earrings-college graduation for #1 daughter, and turning 13, #2 daughter, (hers will need upgraded lol)
