I'm currently working on a new 3-stone ring project and need some help/suggestions on the setting. I already have a 3-stone so this will be a second ring. The center stone will be a 2.5 CT and the sides will be 1.2 ctw each. Additionally, I'm thinking of keeping the existing halo in the center stone (but not sure if it will work).
I like high settings and want to ensure I can wear a band flush against this ring if I choose. I have 2 settings that I'm wondering if they can be combined. I like the mount and baskets on the ornate setting (which I'd have done plain but wonder if I could incorporate a bezel something like the other ring (photos attached). Obviously the width would be a concern and I'd have to get the angle of the side stones correct. Pictures are attached. HELP! Thoughts?
The mount will be plain without all the details in the photo but may have five 8 pt diamonds on each side of the shank. For reference, my ring size is currently a six. The measurements of the stones are as follows: center is 8.7 mm and each side is 6.9 mm.
