I never had a thread on my ring so I thought I'd share it with you now. I just took these photos in my bathroom . Tomorrow i will try to take better photos....One of the photos looks like you can see the inclusion but I assure you there is only one inclusion that I see under a 10x which is why it was graded sI1 and you can only see if with a loupe, otherwise you can see straight through to my finger.

I love a huge EC diamond! Can you tell tell us more about the specs? The print on the GIA cert is too small to see!

Thanks WillyDiamond.....I have actually had it for 11 years. When I lost my mother to breast cancer she left it to me. She wore it for years before me. But each time I went with her to chemo and Radiation she asked me to wear it in the waiting room while she had her treatment so it is much more than a ring for me, it is actually part of her with me all the time. :twirl:

A couple more I am such a bad photographer lol

It's gorgeous. Sorry about your Mom. So hard when your Mother is gone.
She certainly had great taste in diamonds. It's a honker emerald cut...can you see the blue hue of the fl. in the sun?

Yeah that's a really nice diamond, keep it close to your heart.

I'm so sorry about your mom. It is a beautiful stone and ring though, so it's great that you have a gorgeous memento to remember and honor her by!

Gorgeous ring! Love the thick shank too...so cool!

Ahhh, even more special that it belonged to your mother. So beautiful!!!

You might want to have this moved to Show Me the Bling, though!

Just asked PS to move it thanks for telling me. Still a little new here lol

Heididdl, when you commented on my EC thread that you also had an EC diamond, I decided to look for photos of your stone, and I'm glad I did. Wow! What a beauty! The side stones appear to be trillions -- is that right?

And I also want to express my condolences on the loss of your mother.

Sorry about your mom, I'm glad that the ring is extra meaningful to you.

I see your stone has med fluor, you need to get a black light and take fluor pics asap! :) Please. With sugar.

Lula just checking my thread for comments. Thank you so much yes I really do not like the trillions but I am afraid the mess up the ring by removing them. I originally thought i would add four or five colored tiny diamonds in the band and then decided if it aint broke don't fit it. so I just wear it and if anyone messes with me I will clock them in the head with this very heavy platinum band lol

Never thought about the flouresence thing. I do have a black light downstairs I have to drag it out.

Such a gorgeous ring. The fact that it was your moms makes it priceless. So sorry about your moms passing.

What a beautiful diamond, and huge! I love the setting. So sorry you lost your mom. I hope wearing your ring brings you comfort.

I’m glad I found this thread and now know the story behind your beautiful ring <3

I had something similar happen with my father and wearing something that made me feel connected to him sure made it easier to bear.

it seems to me that things like this really do give a diamond it’s true worth.
