Netbride? Ordering online?

While I am still a LIW, I''m sort of a BIW as we have date/location all set with a deposit for May 4, 2007. Anyway, I thought I would just get a Davids Bridal dress, price is so much cheaper, and I had liked one of their plainer dresses. So, I thought my Mom and I should take advantage of the November dress sale and probably look at a few other options just in case- since I would need to order very soon for non-off the rack options.

I tried on some beaded more frilly options at Demetrios.. and gals... I fell in love!! I''ve attached the dress below. Problem- it is $1100 on sale, much more than I planned on spending. So, I thought about checking out netbride and rkbride online for cheaper quotes. Anyone used them? Thoughts on this or the dress? How about a veil for this one?

I ordered from Pearl''s place and had a good experience. I talked to RK too, but got around a rush fee with Pearl''s. It doesn''t hurt to call/email and see what it''ll cost. My only bit of advice would be to consider the cost of any alterations as part of the total cost. If you have a local salon with a sample near your size you could ask about buying the sample and about their alteration fees.

i ordered my BM dresses from netbride. they were WAY cheaper but the only thing i would caution is that your order when you submit it should be 100% accurate. i wanted to change the sizes an hour after i sent the order and it took me a day to track someone down to get them to make the changes on the order. they''re pretty speedy at processing but part of what makes them so cheap can be limited customer service.

otherwise, the dresses were perfect and came in about a month earlier than i expected! i was even able to get a swatch before the dresses arrived to help me with my planning...

Gownsales.com works the same way netbride.com- we used gownsales for my wedding and my sister''s and each time the dresses came in early and perfect.

Thanks gals! Eeek- I ordered it from Pearls Place! They saved me $300! I looked all over the Knot and they had great reviews- so now to be patient and wait until March when it comes in!

I just ordered my dress from netbride.com. They were quick in confirming my order and sent me a receipt stating I would receive it by March 31, 2007! Plenty of time my for July renewal ceremony!

I've been so impressed with their responses to my emails, and their willingness to price match my dress, which was lower on ebridalsuperstore.com....I ended up getting the dress for 50% less ($250!) than the retail price!
