that's what I said but he likes that . I told him Ritani but when they put the stone in the Ritani center he didn't think it was enough bling.
Plus his GF asked for a 2 carat and this is .99 (her dream ring not what she asked for) since the center stone was inherited he feels like he wants to spend more on setting and make it look larger.

Ok I won't touch her "request" but I think the center stone is going to look smaller in the end if it's competing with those. That's his prerogative, but I think a daintier halo will make the stone look much better.
