I am deciding between 2-3 shortlisted e-rings (RB, Solitaire 1895) from Cartier, price range is $23-25k.
Does anyone know if one can negotiate on the price at a Cartier boutique, whether it be on the total price, or being able to purchase the wedding band at a better rate?
I know that the local jewellery shops can and will negotiate on e-rings, but I wasn't sure if international chains like Cartier, Tiffany etc will allow that.
I have read conflicting stories online, those that usually get a small discount are those that bring in X amount of cash and telling the SA that is all the money they have and wanting to get a ring 5-10% more than their cash. I'm not sure if I want to follow the same route since the SA has already picked out the 3 most suitable rings for me.
