Wedding Need your opinions on photog!

Ladies, I am in need of your opinions once again.

I''ve already booked this photographer for my wedding. FI and me met with him and he was really cool and laid-back, yet still very contemporary. He primarily does work commercially and for regional & national publications. He shoots from a "photojournalistic" perspective.

FI and me are looking for someone with a modern, youthful, and professional eye.

Please take a peak and let me know what your opinions are! Wedding is still several months away, so I can find a new photog, if needed.

I think he has an interesting way of finding different shots - some were absolutely divine! He also seems to know how to turn "ordinary" photos into something special, either by his way of using different angles, zooming, or blurring. I almost wish I could have hired him, but don''t tell my photog that.

All in all, I think he looks talented and seems to know his stuff. I think what the PP and I are both wondering is how you feel about him.

I like his photos, but one thing I would want (if you haven''t seen it already) is all the shots from just one wedding. Just to make sure that a large percentage of his shots are good, not just a few from each wedding.

Technically his work is very good, but some of the lighting was harsh (direct sun and strong shadows) and some of the photos just weren''t flattering (esp. the one with the veil blowing in the wind as the bride is exhaling the smoke from her cigarette). I don''t like how much special effects he uses, and I don''t like black and white photography that much. But all that is just personal preferance, and you can work that out with him in a conversation before the big event.

March I think that when they took that picture they knew it was not going to come out a flattering romantic picture. I think it looks edgy! I like it!!

Like I said, personal preference!

Overall I like his work a lot, I think he's a good choice.
