Need your opinion - which should I choose?

I'm about to bite the bullet and choose from these stones. I have upped my budget and will choose a "just-over" 1 carat in most likely BGD Signature H&A H SI1.

Please let me know what you like and don't like. My biggest worry is the inclusions. I will have to ask which are eye-clean but considering all other factors, which would you choose?

Also, an I VS1:

I've thought about going BGD Blue but my girlfriend didn't seem to care about the fluor so H&A it is.

Thanks in advance

This one faces up the largest and is a 'BLUE' but the fl. can make the stone face up whiter and it is $7,600. .5mm will make a noticeable difference in the size of the stone. Maybe you can pick the best of the H &A's and have the gemologist compare to this larger 'blue' and see which stone he recommends. blue fl. can add more personality to your stone in certain lighting. Of the stones you posted there is not much difference that i could see, so i would pick the most reasonably priced. I think BG Signature stones are probably all great performing stones.

Thanks for the input Ariel. I've definitely considered going with the Blue line. However, I know my girlfriend wouldn't like the blue fluor. I tried showing it to her but didn't get the reaction I was hoping for. We still go to plenty of places where they use UV lights (i.e. clubs, etc). I personally think this has great value but I can't go with this route.

I have my heart set on the 1.058 I IS1. This is definitely in my budget, perfect size, from what I see - it looks great, and I finally feel just right about it (which I haven't really encountered yet). Anything more expensive, I'm just not sure if I could do it. I've looked up tons of videos/pics all this afternoon on comparable stones and I just seem happy about this. My only hesitation at first was the I color but I isn't bad at all when I was looking at videos.

So what do you think? Do you think there is anything wrong with this stone? I believe I am going to make the jump on it. I've asked Lesley to put it on hold.

I would agree with Ariel - the signature line will all perform well and at that point, you would probably be safest going with whatever works best within your budget.

I like the 1.058 I SI1 you have chosen and if you have been thru the options with Lesley and have a good feeling for that particular stone, I don't think you'll go wrong! If it were me, I'd "add to cart" !

I figured all the stones I have posted would all be great. It's finding the one with the best value/pricepoint. Hopefully, in this case it's 1.058 I SI1 that I am leaning towards. Again, the price works for me.

Any more input on this stone? Would this go well with the Novela (girlfriend saw this setting and she loves it)?

The only way I wouldn't go with this stone is if there is a better Signature H&A that is worth paying for. Do you think this is the best I can get for about $7000 at BGD without going to the blue line?

You have chosen well from the signature line. go with what is within your budget and that Lesley (or whom ever you are consulting with) feels is the most eye clean. They have them there to view on site. Really, the one you like is a fantastic stone! but I know how easy it is to second guess a big decision!

Again, if it were me, I'd be very happy with the one you like!

The I SI1 you picked is a pretty stone! I personally have a BG blue but I understand your concerns. You need to get something your gf is comfortable with. I like the G SI2 you posted the best. Great value if it's eye clean. But I'm ver color sensitive so the G color is really important to me. Clarity I don't see why pay for something you can't see so as long as it's eye clean and no structural integrity issues.

BG stones are all so beautifully cut you'll bet blown away. The Novela setting is pretty. Post pictures when you get your ring!

I like the smaller tables, 55-56%. 57%-58% is larger than I prefer. But all of those diamonds are nice. I would probably go for the Blue, of those two I color diamonds. I is where most people can start detecting color, and the fluor will help negate that.

The I SI1 is still the front runner. Hopefully it is eyeclean. I see it says "Clarity grade is based on clouds that are not shown". This worries me a bit. I'm going to have a call with BGD to see what stones are eye-clean and get a recommendation from them based on my price range.
