Hey guys,

I finally put a deposit down on this oval and now I'm unsure and need your thoughts. I've been looking forever. Please let me know what your opinions are.

Here are the specs:
GIA certified
2 carat, D, VS2, symmetry: very good, Polish: excellent, ratio: 1.36, depth:62.3, table: 60, thin to thick faceted girdle, no fluorescence, 8 mainB

Here is an image of it on my camera phone on a random setting. Unfortunately, I can't get an ASET image. 20170330360479142.jpg

I'd appreciate any of your opinions. Thank you in advance.

Well, it looks like it has potential. A more up close picture of the stone would be helpful.

Look for well defined facets turning on/off as the stones moves (mirroring affect). Look at it in as
many different lighting situations as possible.

How well do you think it performed?

Unfortunately, I'm not an expert at this stuff. It looked like it sparkled enough to my liking away from any fancy lighting and in the sunlight.

Thank you for your opinion!

Any other thoughts? Just hoping to get a professionals opinion since I'm such a newbie!

We aren't looking for anything perfect just want to make sure it isn't the worst oval you've seen! Our preference is on color and carat size and cut certainly too.

How often do you see a black line through the center? We usually avoid stones with black lines going
through them (bow-tie). If you see the black line a lot, I would pass. If you dont see it very often
then not a big deal.

The stone looks very nice in the most recent second image you have posted
