Hi everybody !
I live in Belgium and I already bought a lot of diamonds.
I am dealing with a De Beers sightholder for a few years, and he sells H&A diamonds.
When I tell you that "I am dealing", it means that I can "upgrade" my diamonds, he will take my stone back to sell me a bigger and more expensive stone, so I don''t loose a cent.
My problem is:
1) He doesn''t sell fancy shapes and I want to buy an emerald cut;
2) He always makes me feel that when he is dealing with me that he is loosing his time, because he is sightholder and I am nothing special
3) He is more expensive than all the ideal cut dealers on the net.
What do I have to do? I want to buy a bigger stone, but he doesn''t sell emerald cut, so I could take a H&A, I like them too, but I am afraid of the price he will ask me, in the past I paid the difference but for a bigger diamond now, the difference will be to important.
Would he be crude if I try to get a lower price? It''s the kind of man with who you don''t dare to discuss the price.
Thanks for your help !
