Need urgent advice on a diamond - please help, thanks! :)

Hi all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a diamond for my FF's engagement ring and am desparately looking for some advice, especially around the AEST images attached below - I'm really struggling to work out if it's got good or bad light performance? It scored 0.7 Excellent within TIC when the proportions were entered into the HCA model. Thanks very much in advance!

Looks nice, but I don't see an ASET image (blue/green/red) - I see H&A views (which are pretty nice)

Based on the numbers and the H&A pics, you have a beautiful stone there! Can your vendor provide you with an ASET image? Can you ship it to you and see for yourself, then return w no penalty? (meaning - does your vendor have a good return policy?)

Has the vendor also confirmed that the fluoro has no negative effects? (I'm sure its fine - what is it? less than 2% have any milky/oily effect - but just to be CERTAIN) Just another thing to enquire about before pulling the trigger!

And.. an upgrade policy when DSS hits in a few years? tee hee!

Yep I realised after I posted the images that they were H&A pics lol...

The dealer offers a 14 day 100% money back guarantee. They also have an upgrade deal as well

I checked regarding the haziness / milkiness issue and the dealer assured me the stone had been checked and there were no transparency issues. The ASET image provides is below. What do you think - it doesn't look quite as bright as I thought it would, or am I just being overly picky???

It's fine. ASET's aren't even necessary on rounds if you have the idealscope image.

I think it's great. The clarity is a bit higher than I'd pay for in a round. But if the price is right and you haven't sacrificed on size for the clarity... looks good. Love the strong blue!!!
