Need to decide by this weekend. Urgent Help, Thanks!!!

This is for my wife and all her jewellery is in Yellow gold. So, that is why I need in yellow gold. She wants 6 prongs so we need to decide between these two settings.

Do you think 1.17ct is a small diamond for this setting and we should go for Tiffany style?

My own $.02 worth is that I still prefer the Vatche, but they''re all nice settings. The question is, which one do you think your wife will like best?

IMHO, the one from 1910 is gorgeous. It has the nicest lines.

I agree that the RC is too much metal for the diamond (which is beautiful btw!).

I would go with a four prong IMO.

It is not a surprise. We personally like the Classic Tiffany Knife Edge Setting from WF but almost everyone recommdended that Royal Crown is a beautiful and delicate setting.

Q:: For our diamond, do you really think RC will make it too crowded and too much metal for this size?

So confused!!! Very hard to decide my looking at pics.

Well, HVVS posted a ring with a 1ct center, and that is not much different than a 1.17.

Here are some other threads with similar size diamonds in ther royal crown head... they look a lot more open than the one HVVS posted, not sure why?? Ah... the one HVVS posted is a .76ct diamond.
