Need to decide between these two diamonds ASAP.

So I placed an order with Blue Nile but continued looking for diamonds just in case. This is the original diamond $2,904.
I thought it looked like a great diamond except those two dark black inclusions.
So I found this one $3,095

That one seems to have an inclusion on the table:/

Both are eye clean and are neither hazy nor milky. Should I call blue Nile and have them switch the diamond? Which one would be better?!

I agree. If that one inclusion (~7 o'clock) was on the table, I'd say otherwise, but I think it has a good chance at being eye-clean. It looks like the other can be covered with a prong.

Plus, BN has a great return policy if it's not. Hang in there- I had a similar search months ago and it was frustrating, but it paid off!

Thank you for your input! I appreciate your time! Can I just ask why you choose the first one? I'm still trying to learn :wall:

I don't like the second one. The first one had a better cut and you can see it in the images of the stones. The first stone is within the measurements below.

These are measurements to help you stay in ideal cut territory with a GIA excellent cut stone.

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34-35.0

pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41.0 if the crown angle is close to 34)
