Need suggestions, wedding band eating into e-ring

I have a trellis or x-prong style engagement ring that I always wear with my channel set wedding band. Lately, I've been noticing that my channel band is starting to eat into one of the trellis legs. I couldn't get a good picture, but one of the legs has a flattened spot from my band where it once was perfectly rounded.

Here's a side profile of how they sit.

I've seen posts about the 1mm or even 0.75 mm spacer bands. Do you think that'd solve my problem? Or any other suggestions?

Thank you!

Do you have a profile pic from the other view? A really low spacer band might help hold them apart. I'm concerned that
the spacer band may rub against your x-prong wires but in a lower location. A side profile pic would help.

Here is a profile of the e-ring. Thanks!

A spacer band is probably the simplest option. Although, as tyty said, the spacer may also end up rubbing against the prongs of your e-ring because the head of the ring is set so low. A more extreme solution might be getting a wedding band with a very low profile. I love your engagement ring btw!!

I have one of the .75mm spacers and it works perfectly for me. I also have a trellis ering (3 stone) and a channel set band, and my wedding ring was hitting one of my wires exactly the same spot yours is. The spacer works to juuuuust separate the two rings enough. I looked just now to see if the spacer is hitting another wire and it is, but I have a feeling that b/c it's not a sharp edge like the wedding ring is, there's more of a danger of my ering wire eating the spacer and not vice versa.
