I prefer the bezel.

Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

This was created by Wink Jones'' bench. The center is a .70 Jubilee from GOG (measuring 5.3 mm on all sides).

I don''t have the ring yet, but I''m looking forward to giving it to my wife!

Again, please post all opinions on the ring.

Thanks!

Bezel all the way!

Good choice on the bezel! I bet your wife will be very pleased!

One more pix of the shank.

I like the bezel, it''s clean and streamlined. When there''s already so many other things going on, prongs would just clutter up the look. I don''t care for the way the surprise diamonds stick out -- they''d look better flush -- or even better, not at all. When there''s tons of other little diamonds all over the place, "suprise" diamonds are just more diamonds! Finally, not sure how true the CAD looks compared to the finished product, but the bezel and halo seem just a bit heavy/thick, and for the size center stone the proportions should be more delicate. But overall I love the design -- reminds me of the T&Co Legacy!

ETA: Nevermind.....I see you already went bezel.....very pretty.

It turned out just beautifully! I can definitely see the inspiration ring in yours. I love the bezel, very classy and clean. Congrats!

Looks lovely! I''m so glad you went with the bezel! One question, though - it''s interesting that you chose not to miligrain the bezel . . .

The finished product is beautiful! Love the choice of the bezel and miligrain on the outside.

Can''t wait to see hand shots

As far as not millgraining the bezel, I did request that they would.

I haven''t brought up that point with Wink because I''m not all that sure I would like it better with millgrain. I sort of like the antique style with a modern flair.

Here''s mine with the double prong, it''s a 1ct stone. The opening is 5.5 mm across. It makes my Cushion stone look round. I think I should''ve done single prongs instead. Would''ve blended better. The double prongs make it a little more bulky than I''d of preferred.

I still love it though!

I didn''t do the bezel because it takes away from the stone itself.
