Keeping my fingers crossed too.
Then, we can help look for a diamond.![]()
Gosh no if you aim for a more narrow setting, but I think I may have a better options since I think you said your had a bit of fluidity in your budget. If you like this at all, and it is in your budget, please put on hold as its pretty stellar while you decide. Look at that ASETNot sure if you noticed or not, but I actually got the IS image back from JA on the one stone that was recommended early on. I have it placed on temp hold. Originally I was supposed to make a decision by today, but they have extended my hold until tomorrow.
Would I be making a mistake by purchasing the stone w/o deciding on the setting?
It seems to have received some pretty good comments thus far, but would really appreciate your input as well as you've been so helpful. Here is a link to the other thread:

If an H color works, they have this one with no clarity worries that can be seen by eye.

HCA does not apply to super ideals. They have the ASET to prove performance.
So maybe this isn't over. Just learned she really, really likes this one. Supposedly better than the twist.
It's fake clown jewelry, but looks very, very similar to the Maevona Poppy collection. Apparently she likes the way the wedding band locks into the engagement ring too. Except for -- wait for it -- it's a princess cut and doesn't have the side pear diamonds.

@sledge i know you have an overwhelming number of options already but just remembered this designer who integrates the swoopiness and the wedding band in unique ways and may be worth checking out.

Ugh, and the saga continues. Appreciate all the help thus far, and asking you guys be a little more patient with me. A few updated facts:
- Diamond is selected. BGD Blue, round, 0.867c, H, VS2, H&A https://www.briangavindiamonds.com/...0.867-h-vs2-round-diamond-ags-bl-104098623002
- I prefer to get a setting from BGD, but not opposed to custom design (not sure either of us are ready for this, unless minor customization) or purchasing elsewhere and shipping to BGD for final assembly.
- She has a Pinterest page, but no rings selected.
- She is trying to guide me with details without saying "I want this one". She says whatever I pick she will love and the thought is what matters to her. For this reason, I don't ever get THAT reaction when the girl finds THEIR ring.
- She believes society is backwards. Too much focus on the e-ring and not enough on the wedding band. In her opinion the e-ring should be plain & then come to life with the wedding band added.
- She tends to like twisted/curved rings the best and usually rounds but has seen a few with princess & marquis cuts she likes.
- She doesn't like many of the modern rings where the wedding band looks like an "after thought".
- She likes e-rings & wedding bands that are designed to be integral with one another.
- Because of 7 & 8, I don't see her ever wearing the wedding band solo.
- No halos -- she doesn't like them.
- The other night, she spouted off just get plain matching wedding bands.
I like this a lot, but it's not her favorite. Maybe not integral enough.

An example of something she considers more integral:

Kind of the overall ideal what she likes, but not exactly. She mentioned there was lots of gaps.

One she seemed to really like.

A previous fav of hers. However, I question how the wedding band will work (worried won't be integral enough).

She seemed to like this, but was not necessarily her favorite either. Obviously in round instead of oval.
