Hello!
First just wanted to say thank you for all of the help this site and community has been! I am looking to purchase a wedding band for my fiance. Her engagement ring is a round solitaire (just over 2 ct) on a rose gold knife-edge 6 prong setting. She wants a simple diamond band to compliment the solitaire. We were looking at rings the other day and think that 3-5 point stones seem to go well (not super tiny pave, just enough to appreciate the individual stones). I was looking into the 11 stone u-prong ring from IDjewelry. They quoted me $785 (very reasonable) for their 11 stone ring custom made in rose gold with 5 point stones. This is the same ring only with larger stones and shown in yellow gold http://idjewelry.com/1-65ct-11-diamonds-u-prong-band-set-in-14k-rose-gold-w3514-11-r-iadd.html .
What do you guys think? I really like the look of the u-prong. And to make sure the rings sit flush we were going to get a rose gold spacer. Does anyone have a similar ring pair that they wouldn't mind posting pictures of?
