Hello all. I'm looking to purchase a round cut diamond for an engagement ring. I came across a 1.03 ct E, VVS2 with the following measurements per the GIA certification...

Cut - Excellent Fluorescence - Faint Symmetry - Excellent Polish - Excellent
Measurements - 6.45 - 6.48 x 3.98
Table - 57%
Depth - 61.6%
Crown Angle - 34.5°
Crown Height - 14.5%
Pavilion Angle - 40.8°
L/W Ratio - 1.0
Culet- None

What are your thoughts on this? Is $6900 a fair price?

The stats look good. You can use the diamond search engine to find comparable stones so you can figure out if the asking price is fair :)
To elaborate on my comment, there is a lot that stats and a price does not tell us. What is the vendors return policy? What is their upgrade policy? Are you buying it loose, or does this vendor have a bench you can work with to create a setting? Is it someone local to you, or an online vendor who specializes in “virtual inventory”? All of these factors change the value, and can help determine if the price is fair.
