Need Some Expert Advice on this Oval

I've noticed that oval posts don't get a lot of comments here and I think it's because ovals are so hard to assess online. You really just need to find one that you think looks good (crisp facets and minimal bowtie, etc.) and make sure there is a good return policy. Test it out in a lot of different lighting scenarios and make sure it's pleasing to your eye!

And on that note, this one might also have potential and is at a great price point IMO (though I'm far from an expert): https://www.adiamor.com/Lab-Diamonds/3.22-ct-F-VS1-Excellent-Cut-Oval-Diamond/D51110551?rfr=search

Agreed. When you look at a stone at 10/20x magnification, you don't really get a sense of what it will look like in real life. Unless an oval is obviously mushy, there's a good chance it'll look great in real life. If you want more certainty then you need to go through a vendor who has ASET images etc. and can vet the stone for you. My mined oval is terrible on paper and at high magnification you'd give it a wide berth but my vendor said it was 'bluffy' and at the price it was, I jumped on it. It's stunning on my finger so I love it. I'm sure I could have bought a more 'perfect on paper' lab oval but I'm not sure if it would sparkler better, more etc. Just pick one you feel good about and bring it in. Just make sure you can return it etc.
