Hey guys I''ve been around the forum but haven''t posted anything because I wasn''t quite ready to make a purchase. However, if everything seems to fall into place I wouldn''t mind making a purchase come December. With that in mind can you guys tell me what you think about this diamond along with this setting?

I think the setting is exactly what I am looking for now I am just trying to find the perfect princess cut diamond for it.

So all in all in all, if time was not a factor, considering the economy (metal prices, diamond prices, and stock) would it be a good time to buy a ring and rock? I would like something close to 1.5 carats, princess cut, and around 8-9k. Thanks for you time.

Regards

Could you request an ASET image and photo and post them here please?
You may also want to reserve the stone as a lurker might buy it out from under you.

I have no comment on the style etc

I''ll leave the cut comments to princess experts. Is this for you or your intended? The style is not my favourite, but that is just me, it is a personal decision.

As for whether it is a good time, this is not really an investment pruchase so the only things to consider in my book are whether you have the money to buy the ring/rock without credit. Diamond prices do only go up over time, so waiting would not likely change the price of the goods you are looking to buy, but might only change your own financial situation.

If you are outside the US then it is a good time to buy, IMHO, because the exchage rate is very good right now (for CAN currency anyways).

I''ll try to get the image so that I can post it.
The ring isn''t for me but my significant other likes the ring style wise. Lastly, regarding purchasing for an investment...its not that, I guess I am just looking for the best possible deal (best bang for my buck).
Thanks
