Anyone know where I can fine a solitaire setting similar to Mark Morrell's Torchiere? I really like his stuff, but 3k for a setting is too steep. In NYC would be ideal, but online is OK too. THANKS!!!

I have a Vatche Royal Crown and I believe Unique Settings of New York makes one VERY similar. Another neat one is the H. LEVI Royal Charm.

There are 2 MM settings for sale on JBEG site that are a fraction of the retail price.

Here is the platinum one for ~1700.00 and it held a .85 carat stone (not sure if that can be modified to much you'll have to email them)

The other one they have listed is a bit thicker and not the same style but you can find it on the first link.

Good luck!

No, there is really nothing very similar. There are nice settings that are less than that, however.

Ditto. But since you are talking about a 2 ct stone (I assume, based on the quoted price of $3k for the Torchiere) I would splurge on the MWM if that is the look you want.

There is nothing like the real thing. I would do all I could to get the original.

Thanks for all the replies! Very helpful!
