Need recommendations for Amethyst pre-set necklaces

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to find an Amethyst pendant and was wondering if someone can recommend a few online vendors who specialize in pre-set colored stone & amethyst jewerly. I've found lots of websites, but am not sure what I should be looking for quality wise and who is reputable. I've never purchased a colored stone item online.

The three cut styles I'm open to are briolettes, pear shapes or cushions. I'm not fond of the convex cut, so that's not an option.

I've already found a few styles I like, but one is mounted in YG and I'd prefer WG and the other, a beautiful cushion cut, is $3,700 (from David Yurman).

Personally I would buy the gem alone first then have someone set it. I think that price is ridiculous for those pale amethists.
