Need Quick Help on Fluorescence........Please

When a GIA grading report says Slight Fluorescence what does this generally mean? Should it effect the color of the diamond? (G color in this case)

Also with faint fluorescence you may not notice the effects, although I do with mine in sunlight which has faint, it is a grey area I think. Stone by stone basis I think and I would tend to agree you may not notice the effects more than you might, if that makes sense!
