Need Opinions on Princess Cut Diamond!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around here for quite some time figuring out what I want for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I'm absolutely positive she wants a princess cut. Princess cut isn't as popular here on PS so it's been kind of hard getting some info so some assistance is appreciated. I need you guys to help me narrow down some of these diamonds. One thing that I absolutely will not compromise on is cut. I definitely want a brilliant diamond. I'm pretty flexible with everything else, although I'd like to stay with a color grade of H or better. Clarity is not as significant as long as it's eye clean. Budget for the diamond is about 8K give or take. I'm trying to narrow down these diamonds:

I'm a big princess fan and here are my suggestions based on what you wrote. $8k is a nice healthy budget for a diamond so I would forget any of those diamonds that isn't above 1.1ct. You seem to have your priories right in the order cut, color, then clarity. But I would add that almost all girls what a larger rock and for your budget you can get a nice big one with a great cut, good color and clarity. I quickly skimmed thru the options you posted and based on what you've said I think these two are the best options:

How do you plan on setting the diamond? What is your gf's ring size? I'm just thinking that if you are planning on a halo and your gf has size 3 fingers then we may have to reconsider my above advice.

Thanks for your input! I kind of left out size preferences only because I personally wasn't too sure on the compromise between size and light return but thanks for giving me those suggestions

She likes simple so probably just a simple solitaire setting. Ring size is 5.5.

Awesome, thanks so much! Which one of the 2 would have the better light return? I'm not great at reading Asets. I might make my decision based off that. Thanks

If it were me, I'd go with this stone. I prefer this ASET and IS over the other options - a good balance of bright and contrast, and the inclusions are a crystal and a pinpoint. I'd prefer that to a feather and a scratch on one of the other BGD stones. I realize it is a smaller diamond for similar money, but it is one of their signature princess stones. I believe that is the only ones they will upgrade (**NOT CERTAIN - need to check w a SA or their upgrade policy**)

My second choice would be this from WF:

(I am NOT a princess expert, but I do own a princess 3 stone and it was set by BGD... )
