Here are the specs...

Princess shape
2.01 carat
H-color
SI1-clarity
Ideal cut with 1.01 length/width ratio
Polish/Symmetry = VG/VG
Depth = 66%
Table = 72%
No fluorescence
EGL certification

Price: $9455

I know that EGL is more liberal with their grading, so I assume this would be comparable to an I-color diamond with a GIA cert. Although I would rather have the peace of mind with a GIA certification, I am fine with an EGL certification.

Thanks!

I can''t advise you on Princess cuts unfortunately , but I do have an EGL certed diamond which I am delighted with

Have you seen this diamond and is it eyeclean? If you have seen it and love it, that is the main thing, although I have no idea what the cut quality is. Is it EGL USA certed? Apparently I have read here that EGL USA have tightened up their grading standards recently, I don''t know how true this is but it might be worth taking into account. My best advice is if you have seen the diamond and love it, get an independant appraisal during the return period, most vendors will encourage you to do this, it will give you peace of mind that the diamond is what it is certified as, or close enough as you don''t mind this. EGL USA certed diamonds can be great buys IMO as long as you love the diamond and have an independant appraisal, you can get a larger rock for your money in some instances, that is why I happily went with an EGL cert

Hope this helps until the Princess cut lovers can advise you on the numbers!
