Need New Washer

One of my friends has the HE3 and loves it. Hers is a little older, probably about 5 years old. She does suggest that when you go with one of these to get the matching dryer to ensure that the dryer can handle the washing machine's output.

DF, are you recommending Whirlpool or Maytag? Or both? Surely they''re not made by the same company.

I''d love to be in a position to spend enough money to get a fabulous new washer/dryer like Miele or Bosch, but we''re not right now.

GE appliances have always worked well for us so perhaps that''s the route to take.

Anyway, back to the research
