Need honest opinion on a diamond!

Hi, I’m currently looking at a GIA certified natural round diamond 1.52 Carat G Color VS1 and was quoted $15,000 USD.

Would appreciate any opinion on this diamond on whether it is of good quality and would sparkle or if there is any issues/concerns that should be taken note of.

Also, I’d have to make a deposit to order this diamond, and I have not seen the actual diamond. My worry is if these pictures are enough to guarantee a quality cut and sparkly diamond or would I be disappointed when the diamond arrives.

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated!

The 1.518 is a true hearts and arrows diamond with better cut precision overall. You can see this especially in the hearts image.

Exactly what @Kim N said. Super ideal cut diamonds are superbly cut giving you the best light performance and sparkle. If you are interested in the diamond, give the folks at Whiteflash a call. They own these diamonds and they are in house. They will give you their assessment and provide videos for you if requested. If I were going to spend the 15k on the diamond you presented, I would most certainly spend it on the best cut diamond you can find. I did nine times - and have never regretted it for a moment!
