I need help. I am looking for a diamond and I have seen several. Although I feel that I have done research I am still confused about cut. What are exceptable dimensions for a round. Also I am interested in this diamond but am not sure if it is good or a fair price,ect...

It''s too deep, and does it have a GIA/AGS certificate???

No, that diamond is very deep. A 1.5 ct. diamond should measure close to 7.4mm and that one is smaller. If you want some good parameters to go by, check the numbers under American Ideal Cut class 1A on this cut chart:

The first two numbers are the diameter and the last number is the depth. The diameter numbers are important because you want to be sure the stone looks like a 1.5.
