Something I sent to a diamond broker turned out to be not diamond which was a small stone something to get my feet wet. Now they won't reply. I have genuine gem quality diamonds that are just collecting more dust. To make matters worse I have one of the rarest colors of diamond in blue. I'd hate having to go to a pawn shop but I need the money. What to do?:confused:20180518_034046.jpg20180520_232137.jpg 20180520_232230.jpg20180516_032102.jpg20180513_222243.jpg

I don’t think pawnbrokers buy rough stones? It’s expensive and you have to have contacts to get diamond rough cut (and only an experienced cutter can estimate probable resulting carat weight).
Perhaps you should try contacting a diamond broker, obviously though they will be wanting appropriate certification and will probably need to assess the stone in person before making you an offer.

Thanks. Hopefully all goes well.
