Hello:

I am in the process of searching for my first LG diamond tennis bracelet and based on what I want, I am going to have to have this custom made.

I am looking for a north south set, oval shape bracelet, with approx 8 to 9 total carat weight, G color or better, vs quality, cvd. I've talked to a bunch of people via instagram and gotten various prices ranging from $5,500 to $10,000. Since the diamonds are too small to be "certified" how do I know what I am really getting? How do I even know if I am getting real lab grown diamonds that are of the quality I want?

Also, If anyone has a bracelet like the one I am looking for (or something similar), can you share who made it?

Going up to NYC to see some of these vendors in person next weekend.

Thank you for the advice.

I wouldn't consider $10k for a lab grown bracelet. You can get a pretty nice natural diamond bracelet at that price. The main problem that I can think of is that many ovals are not that well cut, and they do not have the light return that well cut rounds do. So seeing the stones and evaluating the cut, color, and clarity would be important to me. I am not sure I have ever seen a tennis bracelet with all ovals, but setting them east-west (end to end) would allow for fewer stones and a reduced cost. I personally would prefer it that way.

Did you see this photo @icy_jade posted in a recent thread?
I think the oval bracelet is beautiful, although I know you want them oriented in the other direction. I would reach out to Melissa@WolfCBI and ask for a quote. Lots of eyes are evaluating the lab diamonds that they bring in to make sure they are well performing stones. I'm not sure what they are offering by way of smaller uncertified ovals, but it would be a good starting point.
