Pavillion Angle 41.2

Its a G VS1 triple ex and scores a 2.4 on HCA. Any issues with this one??

What is the girdle measurement on this diamond? If too thin, this diamond may be more prone to chipping because the crown is on the shallow side. The girdle thickness should be listed on the report. Are you able to see these diamonds in person? You might want to post the numbers of the other diamond, just to be sure. HCA isn't perfect, and it definitely prefers certain crown/pavilion angles over others.

Not wild about those. Here, see what you can find around these parameters:

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34-35.0

pavilion angle: 40.6-41.0

I don't care for the look of low crowns and crown angles. The above measurements usually will yield a good HCA score.

This one is better than the first one you posted. The crown is not low, but the table is larger than many people here prefer. Diamonds with lower crowns and larger stones may be bright-looking stones, though, depending on the other angles. Some people prefer this look. Without photos or other images, we can't really tell you much more.

The pav angle is a problem on that one being over 41. You'd have to have an idealscope image to consider that one.
