I'm looking for a princess cut that's close to 1ct. Around .9 or lower is fine. As long as it's beautiful. D-E would be nice. I'm an artist so I see color very easy and I need 100% no yellow. 100% eye clean is all that matters. I want an ideal cut. She wants a solitary ring and she has large fingers. She believes a 9.5-10. So I'm trying to get the best looking diamond that also doesn't look so small on her hand. My price budget is $5k for the diamond. Would like to buy online within the next 2 weeks.

Please help guys. I would hate to mess up and pay for junk.

Your guys are the experts. I'm open for any suggestions.

Am I posting this in the right spot?

Out of those 4, based on all the images, for me the 0.912ct E-VS1 edges out ahead of the others - I really love the smaller table and higher crown - and dimensions-wise, it is not that much smaller face-up than the 0.921ct F-VS1, which I would rank a very close 2nd based on its facet pattern and nice crown height (plus it faces up the largest). I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

The 0.835 F-VS1 is a solid option too, but faces up smaller and me personally I prefer the photo images of the two above over this one.

I don't really care for the 4th choice, the 0.841ct F-VS2, something about the center in all the images.

(I looked real quick at Good Old Gold but they did not have any ideal-cut princesses listed on their website in the 0.90-1.0ct D-F range.)

* I did find this 0.873ct E-VS1 at Brian Gavin Diamonds - it faces up very square at 5.12 x 5.11 - and has a great table/crown combo - this may be my favorite candidate of them all... http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/d...0.873-e-vs1-princess-diamond-ags-104079603002

I don't think you would detect any color in a G and it would save you some money possibly !
