I have been away and I am back now. I have been doing reading and research, but still would like some input on some diamonds. I have looked at 100's of princess cut diamonds from James Allen, Whiteflash, and other local stores. It is getting to the point where they are all starting to look the same. I selected one diamond but then it turned me away because it was not as clear as I remembered or wanted. I am trying to narrow my search and really just get the best diamond for her. I am thinking H or higher for color, VS1 or higher for clarity, and 1.5-2 carat diamond. I have been trying to find around 70% or lower for depth. Any input or help would be much appreciated.

Below is a list of diamonds I am interested in with little differences here and there. Thanks to anyone who is willing to help.

Quick question...any reason you dont want to go with an AGS graded stone that has an Ideal light performance grade? That would be my first choice
if I was after a princess cut.

This is the only one that JA has in your size/price range and to be honest the faceting on this one doesnt do much for me.

Whiteflash has 4 that fit in your specs...this is my favorite one

Several of the ones you linked had very flat crowns. What I like are decent crowns, smaller tables, and tables that have some bend or angle (not
square or rectangular) to them.

I will definitely will start looking at the AGS graded. No reason why I havent, just everyone told me to go with james allen. Is there a better place to look at that has AGS graded diamonds?

Yes, Whiteflash...the link I posted above. Their stones all have Ideal light return which sort of takes the worry out of finding a good stone.
They also provide aset, idealscope image and an up-close video.

James Allen may have some AGS princess stones but Whiteflash's A Cut Above covers more than just ideal light return.

I would also check at Enchanted diamonds. They have a cut score calculator that you can use for any GIA graded diamonds, which is a helpful tool. You can use it to check stones from other places as well, as long as there is a GIA report. It's under education.
