Hi,
So I am wanting to have a ring made for myself, one that I can wear everyday - my engagement ring is a ruby with diamonds around it which I don't wear anymore and my other rings I don't really like anymore and one is set too high to wear everyday. I like the cushion halo style with both JAllen and Blue Nile have - I also don't want to spend much - I only want about .50ct but I don't know at that size what is the most important part of a diamond I should be looking at. Have read thru a few of the posts on here so I am now a bit confused ? For some reason I can't copy and paste the photo of the one on James Allen but it is the Cushion outline pave ring sky 17086W14 (they are 25% off at moment so would like to take advantage of that).
Thanks

Is no-one able to point me in the right direction ?

What is your budget for the diamond? Have you seen a .5 c cushion. And are happy with that in spead? Are you open to preowned?

Could you reset your ruby into that JA setting? Or put a diamond into your ruby setting? A half carat cushion will be smaller than a half carat round. Maybe a round stone in the cushion halo?

Hi - I have a budget for a stone of around $1000-$1500 AUD for the stone - I was after colour between D-F, and VS1 (if I am correct in my research) and cut very good or Ideal, I am not set in a round diamond if there is some better for .50c. I read a few discussions but I then became more confused.

Thoughts on this diamond please from James Allen
