Please help. Trying to purchase a pair of lab grown diamond earrings, but unsure which pair is better:
  1. Option1: https://report.igi.org/index.php/reports/verify_your_report?r=LG605374689; https://report.igi.org/index.php/reports/verify_your_report?r=LG602312936 (videos are here:https://theartofjewels.com/build_yo...9437&ssid=11809802&byosp=setting&dshape=round)
  2. Option 2: https://report.igi.org/index.php/reports/verify_your_report?r=LG595388688; https://report.igi.org/index.php/reports/verify_your_report?r=LG605306368 (videos are here https://theartofjewels.com/build_yo...7998&ssid=11809802&byosp=setting&dshape=round)
For Option 1 the IGI Cut grade on both is Excellent and for Option 2 the IGI Cut grade is Ideal, the price different between the 2 pairs is $100. However, I am unsure if I need to be looking at something else - like the Girdle thickness. Also unsure if Excellent vs Ideal for IGI makes a difference especially for earrings. In terms of blue tint, I didn't see anything on the certificates about it, how can we tell which pair will be with lesser blue tint?
Any advice will be very appreciated.

I'm not a fan of the cut on any of these diamonds.

If you're not tied to Art of Jewels, I recommend this pair.

Hi Kim, thank you for replying. I’m not tied to that particular vendor and happy to look elsewhere. I want a pair that will have really good sparkle . Can you please send the first link again, it shows nothing was found for it. Thank you again!

Darn, that means it got sold. I suggest putting the second one on hold. Let me know when you're online and ready to put another one on hold and I'll post the link.

They're not bad, but I found a pair that's better cut. Let me know when you're able to put it on hold, and I'll link it.

Could you also let me know how your pair is better? Just trying to understand the details :)

It's a little more precisely cut than the pair you posted.

Thank you! What do I look for to understand the better cut - is it the Length to Width ratio or something else?

When the diamond is perfectly centered, I look at the areas between the bases of the arrows. Here is a very precisely cut stone next to a more poorly cut one. The one on the right is messier, with lots of irregularities between the bases of the arrows. This is an extreme example, but the diamonds you picked have—although to a much lesser extent—similar signs of an unevenly cut pavilion.
