Hi all,
I haven't posted here in a long time (after I purchased my 3 stone e-ring !!). Now, I am shopping for right hand ring. I want some colored stones in there along with diamonds and looking for a little chunkier design. I am attaching few of the designs I liked. Could anyone share their thoughts on this?

Thanks

I have two favorites of the ones you posted...this Michael Fina 3 is one...love the design, the rubies, love it!!!

This Simon G (5th ave) is the second. Diamondlil owns this ring and uses it as a wedding band sometimes, perhaps she will weigh in with her opinion as well. I love it!

Here were the other contenders, for those interested....Michael Fina 2

I know, I know. I''m no help whatsoever. You just hit my idea of a perfect right-hand ring for myself. I love them all. I love blue so maybe one with sapphires would do.

I think that Simon G ring is absolutely exquisite! That would be my choice hands down, but all of the rings you are considering are quite lovely.

I like the 5th ave for its overall design as well as having a soft spot for diamonds and sapphires. The one from Nordstrum's is nice too.

Thanks all.

I just browsed and found DiamondLil''s ring (3 tone) and it''s totally gorgeous. I emailed Firenze for pricing. In the week-end I am going to try these rings since I could drive to Manhattan..

I am looking for diamonds and rubies, so either a custom setting or settle into one of these I guess :)

But it was reassuring to know these are good choices..

Love the simon G... have you looked at Beverly K's collections? dimendscaasi.com has them as "english collection" rings-- they aren't labeled Bev K on the site, but he's an authorized dealer, he doesn't say it on the site (will swear to it in blood if you ask him to, though, and on one of the Carl Blackburn sites it lists him). Pearlmans has the nicest pics of them (under Beverly K) and some of Bills prices are better. Like the first one posted as well.

I would check Fay Cullen, too... she has some lovely rings that would be PERFECT RHRs!

A new project -- how FUN!!!

Thanks again.

Gypsy: Thanks for the post. I loved Pearlman site and still drooling over the Beverly K rings. The mixed tones (white and yellow gold) looks great. But does anyone know if I could find a retailer, to try them on before I decide? I don''t know how it would look on me..

You know that was a pain for me too! The website is so bad about retailer info!! I was just lucky and walked into a shop near Napa when I was window shopping that had them. If anyone is better with website''s than I am Isaac swore that he''s listed as a retailer on the Bev K or Carl Blackburn site... but both sites ae miserable to navigate IMO...but if it listes one retailer then wouldn''t it list them all???

I will say that I thought they looked better in person than on the net. SO white. And I was looking at the 18K ones, not the platinum ones at first. They were amazing.

Oh I just remembered! Bill Pearlman said that the guy who runs the Beverly K line of Blackburns is really nice and helpful-- even to customer''s questions-- bet you could just call them (I remember a # on the site) and ask for a retailer in your area!

Thanks all.

I browsed to see the Three tone ring from Simon G. I think someone this PS has it (Maryane).. If you see this thread, can you pls stop by and send me PM or something. I am going to NY diamond district tomorrow (Firenze) to try this ring on.. I really really liked it. Wanted to see if I could get more information from the owner of this ring..

thanks

Thanks FireGoddess. I really love that ring :)

All right, a little update from the week-end.

We went to NYC, to check out some rings in person. Saw all the Michael Fina rings. Excellent customer service, but nothing really impressed me.

Then went to Firenze jewellers to check out their Simon G rings. And man, I loved 2 of their rings. One is the classic flower ring with pink diamonds. Will post the pic. But more than that, I loved their tricolor wedding band, that is actually owned by one of the PS (MA is her name I guess). They have quoted me a price and I told them I will get back to them within a day or two. Just wanted some time to think about !! But, I even dreamt about that ring y''day.. So, I think I need to have it..

I will post that pic too.

Has anyone worked with any other Simon G dealers? Would love to hear about it..

Here is the flower one.

I don''t know anything about Simon G dealers, but I love their pieces and that tricolor ring you''ve posted is stunning!!!

I can''t recall anyone on here having a Simon G ring other than MaryAlaina and Diamondlil. I believe MA worked with Firenze (I think?!) but Diamondlil got hers secondhand, not through a dealer. I think MA asked the same question as you on PS but didn''t get any firsthand responses??

Okay. I ADORE that tri-color. It may be my secret yearning for a couple of Cartier pieces but that sucker ROCKS!!!!
