Hi all,

Appreciate if anyone can give me advice on this stone I am considering:
All I have is GIA cert. which gives:

- Shape: Round brilliant
- Measurements: 6.5-6.55 x 3.98
- Weight 1.04
- Proportions
- Depth: 61%
- Table: 59%
- Girdle: Medium to slightly thick, faceted
- Culet: none
- Finish
- Polish: very good
- Symmetry: very good
- Clarity grade: VS2
- Color grade: F
- Fluorescence: none
- Comments:none

What would be a reasonable price for this stone?

Thanks!

Who told you this is not ideal cut? :) It might be very nice diamond. It all depends on combination of crown and pavilion angles. You might want to check tutorial on this site and ideal-scope.com.

For price indication run a search from Pricescope.com front page for the similar Carat-Color-Clarity and close ranges of the depth and table.

Hi Leonid,

thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I am in Singapore and not sure where to go to get that detailed information. Can you provide any ideas?

thanks,

Hi,
My friend helped me to purchase an idealscope from pricescope in Australia because I was planning to purchase a 0.32 FVS2 loose stone with GIA cert. I find it very useful when looking at loose diamond as it shows you how much light leakage.

We can get a scope to you for $25 plus about $5 postage and handling.
It takes about 5 days from Melbourne.
