We found a beautiful stone, but I can''t decide on the setting.
Nothing grabs me. I love antique styles such as Tacori and Renassaince but they are too bulky on my fingers (I have tiny hands). My girldfriend was engaged resently and her setting is so beautiful. Round brilliant in the center with tiny round ones little below it and channel set on a thin band. I didn''t want to intrude and ask her where they got her ring. Any suggestions? Pictures would be great! I just want something unique and precious.

Have you considered a thin pave setting around it? I think thin pave bands look excellent on slender and small hands. My sister in law is a 4 ring size....she has tiny hands, and she looks good with it!

Here is a nice setting from Fay Cullen. I think this would look stunning on a petite hand.
