While cleaning out my old jewelry box I found this 24" sterling necklace buried in the bottom. It is unmarked and I have forgotten where and when I acquired it. I have spent the last few days trying to identify the link type. It is flat, 1/4" wide, heavy and stiff.

Thanks in advance.

It's called a flat serpentine necklace.

I finally heard from someone in the know who says it is a serpentine with links..very unusual. So I guess we luckily own a rare necklace! :-o
