I am choosing from two Round stones. The first one is around $400 less than the second one. Any comments will be welcomed. Thanks!

What is the girdle variation?

Any idealscope image?

1. slightly thick (4%)

2. Very Thin to Medium, Faceted (3.5%)

These two are from online stores and they do not provide idealscope images.

They both have potential, what you could do if you have time is order the basic Idealscope and check them out yourself, the second might be prone to looking dark at close scrutiny due to obstruction, this can happen with some shallow pavilioned stones so its something to look out for.

ditto, also the V-thin part of the girdle might be a little worrying, depends on how widespread it is.

Thus, I prefer #1 from the numbers.

Thanks very much for your input!

I also found one or two more stones with similar prices and very good IdealScope Images. However, all these ones have H color instead of G color. Is it good to go for H color?

Depends on your color sensitivity and personal preferences. Most should not be able to tell the difference when the stone is mounted without comparing the stones side by side.

H colour can be a perfectly acceptable choice, if you are unsure, try to view some well cut H colour of similar size in person, try Jareds for their AGS0 Peerless to see how well cut stones can look in this grade.

Thank you very much!

How do you think about the following two?

stone 1

and

stone 2

Numbers look good for the BN stone, a 60% table will have a slightly different look then a smaller table stone.

The BGD stone looks good.

I prefer the BG diamond, the first could be a great stone but I wouldn''t want to purchase it without an Idealscope image due to possible proportion rounding issues.
