Need Help for an Engagement Ring, please

Hello There,
I was referred to this forum for getting help on finding an engagement ring. I plan to propose in a month or so … I have read enough documentations but I am still not confortable on evaluating diamonds ….
To make this search easy, below are my guidelines for the diamond:
Shape: round
Maximum budget: $7000
Size: 1.3 - 1.5
Cut: prefer excellent or very good
Clarity: SI1 and up
Color: I and up
I know that labs certification is very important (so I prefer AGS) but I wonder how good is EGL Israel, their price $/carat is very low …

Any help is really appreciated

EGL Israel grade is very lose so you get what you paid for which is why the price is so low.
you want either GIA or AGS

7k is not going to get you a good diamond that's 1.3 ct, you may want to lower your size a bit~

The most important factor you need to concentrate on is cut. These diamonds are smaller than you wanted, but quality in my opinion is more important. When you compromise on cut the diamond appears smaller most of the time anyway.

This diamond is a BGD blue so it will appear whiter call for pricescope discount
